Umberto - Prophecy Of The Black Widow (2010)

New band alert! From Kansas City, Mo., we present to you Umberto. Yes, that album cover looks like a lot of those Dario Argento/Goblin productions from the early Seventies and yes, they sound just like that. These guys have no shame  and go for the gusto with evil washes of synth with a electronic lean. Highly recommended for fans of Goblin, Italo-horror cinephiles, and electro/synth rock.

Dirty French Psychedelics: French Psyche Pop (2009)

Here's a great comp of some euro trash from the 70's compiled by Dirty Sound System.

Elvis Presley - The Sun Sessions CD (1954-55)

This is the Elvis that I dig the most; before he was crowned "King", before he graced the silver screen, before sweaty fat jumpsuits. This is when the owner of Sun Studios, Sam Phillips, heard Elvis' demo some songs, signed him, and just by chance decided to press record when his band was rehearsing at the studio that day. It's his first recordings ever. Very essential to rock n' roll right here.
